About Malibu Moves

Malibu Moves, a two-day running festival, is the only running event in the City of Malibu. Featuring a USATF-measured half marathon course, 10K, 5K, 1 Mile Zuma Dash and 1K Kids Run, the event will return for its third edition on Oct. 24 and 25, 2026.

Built with the intention of welcoming all to the race course, Malibu Moves has no pace minimum on any of its distances and is dedicated to celebrating every finisher. Starting and finishing at Zuma Beach, the weekend of events also features an expo and post-race festival with food, music, wellness and community celebration.

Malibu Moves supports the philanthropic efforts of the Move Together Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that oversees the Malibu Moves Community Impact Fund and the event’s community charity partners.
