Get ready for a full weekend of fun at Zuma Beach! On Saturday, the Expo comes alive with merchandise for sale, demonstrations, giveaways, and information from our amazing sponsors and vendors.

It’s also your chance to get acquainted with the start line and parking while enjoying art activities, yoga, stretching, and bounce castles for the kids. Then on Sunday, the big celebration kicks off with races, live music, a beer garden, and plenty more to enjoy with friends and family.

The event is open to the public, so bring your crew—there’s something for everyone!

Participants in the 1K Kids Run and 1-Mi Zuma Dash can pick up their bibs and race shirts on Saturday, up to 15 minutes before their start time. We encourage you to arrive earlier and enjoy the full afternoon at Zuma Beach—there’s so much to do, from bounce castles and kids’ activities to Art for Everyone by Pepperdine’s Center for the Arts, plus yoga and wellness sessions with Veritas Yoga Malibu.

All Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K participants are required to collect their bib and race packet (t-shirt and tote bag) on Saturday during the Expo.

If you can’t attend the Expo, you have three options: purchase Bib by Mail or Race Day Packet Pick-Up, or delegate a friend or family member to pick up your packet for you.

The Malibu Moves Expo features sponsors and vendors, Art for Everyone by Pepperdine’s Center for the Arts, plus yoga and wellness sessions with Veritas Yoga Malibu.

FAQs

  • The Expo is located at Zuma Beach, in the last parking lot from the entrance gates (about a mile north of the entrance).

    For seamless navigation, search for 'Zuma Beach, Malibu' in your GPS app, or enter the address directly: 30050 Pacific Coast Highway.

  • If attending the Expo isn’t an option, here are three alternatives to ensure you get your race essentials:

    1. Delegate: You can send someone to pick up your race packet on your behalf. They’ll need a copy of your driver’s license (a digital photo is fine) and your confirmation bib number email (sent the week of the race) to expedite the process.

    2. Bib Mailing Option: For a $25 non-refundable fee, your bib and timing chip (attached to your bib) can be mailed directly to your home. This fee only covers the bib and timing chip. You can pick up your t-shirt and tote bag on race day at a reserved area marked with signage.

    3. Race Day Packet Pick-Up Option: For a $30 non-refundable fee, you can collect your complete race packet (bib, t-shirt, and tote bag) on race day at a designated area, clearly marked with signage.

  • Ample parking is available in the Zuma Beach parking lots, located at 30000 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu, CA 90265. Parking rates for the Zuma Beach lots are determined by the County of Los Angeles Beaches and Harbor department.

    On Saturday, during Expo hours, you can take advantage of free parking by choosing to park along Pacific Coast Highway, helping you avoid the Zuma Beach lots.
