COASTAL QUEST CHALLENGE!

  • The Coastal Quest Challenge is a two-day experience for participants who complete the 1-Mile Zuma Dash on Saturday and any Sunday race (5K, 10K, or Half Marathon). Challenge participants receive three medals, two shirts, and complimentary Beer Garden access on Sunday.

    You can register directly for the Challenge or upgrade your existing Sunday entry through RunSignup.

Location & parking

  • The event is located at Zuma Beach lot 12, in the last parking lot from the entrance gates (about a mile north of the entrance).

    For seamless navigation, search for 'Zuma Beach, Malibu' in your GPS app, or enter the address directly: 30050 Pacific Coast Highway.

  • Ample parking is available in the Zuma Beach parking lots, located at 30000 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu, CA 90265. The parking rates for these lots are set by the County of Los Angeles Beaches and Harbor Department.

    On Saturday, during Expo hours, you can park for free along Pacific Coast Highway to avoid parking fees at the Zuma Beach lots.

    On Sunday, due to the course design, parking along Pacific Coast Highway will not be available during race hours.

  • Visit resources.

  • If you joined our Virtual Half Marathon, 10K or 5K you’ll embrace the essence of Malibu from anywhere, at your own pace.

    Remember to log your results between October 24-27, 2026 by navigating to your RunSignup Profile.

    Under your Upcoming Events > Select Submit Virtual Results > Enter in your Time > select Submit Time.

    Please note, packets are shipped within the U.S. and U.S. Territories only, two weeks after results submission.
