COASTAL QUEST CHALLENGE!

  • The Coastal Quest Challenge is a two-day experience for participants who complete the 1-Mile Zuma Dash on Saturday and any Sunday race (5K, 10K, or Half Marathon). Challenge participants receive three medals, two shirts, and complimentary Beer Garden access on Sunday.

    You can register directly for the Challenge or upgrade your existing Sunday entry through RunSignup.

The Coastal Quest Challenge is your chance to double the fun at Malibu Moves 2025. Take on the 1-Mile Zuma Dash and a Sunday race to earn extra swag, extra medals, and a full weekend of movement, community, and coastal vibes.

Location & parking

  • The event is located at Zuma Beach, in the last parking lot from the entrance gates (about a mile north of the entrance).

    For seamless navigation, search for 'Zuma Beach, Malibu' in your GPS app, or enter the address directly: 30050 Pacific Coast Highway.

  • Ample parking is available in the Zuma Beach parking lots, located at 30000 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu, CA 90265. The parking rates for these lots are set by the County of Los Angeles Beaches and Harbor Department.

    On Saturday, during Expo hours, you can park for free along Pacific Coast Highway to avoid parking fees at the Zuma Beach lots.

    On Sunday, due to the course design, parking along Pacific Coast Highway will not be available during race hours.

  • If you're a Charity Mover, congratulations—your VIP Package is already included!

    For everyone else, you can easily add the VIP Package during registration.

    If you've already registered, no worries! Just log into your Profile, click "Manage Registration," select the "Add-On" menu at the top, and adjust the quantity of the VIP Package until Thursday, October 23rd at Midnight.

    After that, you'll also be able to purchase VIP Lounge access at the Race Store during our Expo or on race day.
